Pisgah Covered Bridge snow
Snow falls in the early afternoon at the Pisgah Covered Bridge, March 2, 2010. Gotta hate those March snows!

Randolph County Courthouse landmark
Mac Whatley (pointing) and Phil Kemp get a look inside the old Randolph County courthouse, which was under renovation at the time. The pair, along with others, toured the building after a ceremony for the courthouse being named the first historic landmark designated in Randolph County October 28, 2009.
Claude Shiflet
The Courier-Tribune recently did a story on Claude Shiflet. He's a really neat fella. Here is a photo that didn't make it into the story and I'm sorry it did not....Available light from window, inside the bridle room

Rising Meadow Farm miscellaneous
I was recently on assignment at Rising Meadow Farm to photograph bread making and found some other images that were of interest, including flowers and dried peppers in the kitchen. There was nice light streaming through the windows with white walls and ceiling for fill. I may have added some extra light for the dried peppers.
Fiddle study
I made these for usage in our magazine, Thrive (http://www.courier-tribune.com/sections/thrive-magazine). I'm not even sure if they will be used. It will be the March issue, if one makes it, and be about the various fiddler's conventions in our area. Both shots were lit by flash off camera to hopefully look like sunlight.
